Slate-Lite Extreme Protection is a two-component protective sealer applied after priming, designed for the highest levels of wear.
It is suitable for interior walls and floors and wet areas, reliably protecting the Slate-Lite stone surface against soiling. The sealer is suitable for wet areas, but not for standing water.
It provides a smooth, easy-to-clean surface with little to no color enhancement.

Application (summary):
The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. First apply the primer with a short-pile roller using crisscross strokes. Use only light pressure to avoid bubbles and allow to dry for at least 3 hours.
Then mix the two components in a 2.5:1 ratio and apply evenly with a short-pile roller. Again, use only light pressure, as white bubbles may otherwise form. Allow sufficient drying time and clean tools with water immediately after use.
Additional coats increase the protective effect: Apply at least one coat to lightly used surfaces and wet areas in showers and bathrooms, and at least two coats to heavily used surfaces, such as kitchen backsplashes.
Note: At higher temperatures, the material cures significantly faster than stated in the instructions and data sheet.
